Managing Your Odoo Instance¶
Learn how to control, restart, configure, and monitor your deployed Odoo ERP instance from the JengaStack management dashboard.
Instance Operations¶
1. Restarting an Instance¶
To restart your instance after installing new modules or updating system parameters: 1. Navigate to Instances in your dashboard. 2. Locate your instance and click the Actions dropdown menu. 3. Select Restart Instance. 4. The container will gracefully terminate existing worker threads and restart in approximately 10 to 15 seconds.
2. Pausing & Resuming¶
If your business is seasonal or you need to suspend operations temporarily: 1. Click Pause Instance in the Actions menu. 2. Container execution will halt, freeing compute resources. 3. Your database and filestore persist untouched. 4. Click Resume Instance at any time to restore full service.
3. Upgrading Subscription Plan¶
To increase user limits or allocate additional RAM/CPU: 1. Open your instance detail page and click Change Plan. 2. Select your new plan (e.g. from Starter to Growth). 3. The platform re-allocates memory and CPU cgroups instantly without rebuilding your database.
Accessing Logs & Diagnostics¶
If you encounter an application error:
1. Open the instance detail page and click the Live Logs tab.
2. Real-time stdout and stderr logs from the Odoo container will stream into the viewer.
3. Filter by WARNING or ERROR to diagnose issues.
